SOUL CONTROL FIRST ESTATE -

Foreword by John C. Neubauer:


If you like science fiction, you will love Soul Control by Franc Mendicino.  An imaginative feast, this story is “spiritual fiction” that probes topics seldom discussed or written about in literature.


Many wonder where we came from before being born into this mortal life; the age-old question of “where we came from, why are we here and where are we going?”


Enlightened people the world over suspect that before we all came to earth, we lived in a premortal Spirit world (referred to as the First Estate) with our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother and Their offspring, our Spiritual Siblings. We then came to an earth (Second Estate) to receive a biochemical body which encases our own original spirit being. Bonded together, we prepare to find the Master and participate in His instructional lifestyle program which enables us to graduate this phase of Eternal Life to eventually return with honor and receive all glory reserved for us in our former Heavenly home.


When we came to earth born of earthly parents, those of my Faith believe that we passed through a veil of forgetfulness such that we could not remember our time in the First Estate. We came to earth to be activated to our full potential, restoring past light and truth when reconnected to our godly heritage.


Very little is fully known about our time in the First Estate. Both ancient and living Prophets have not elaborated on this genesis of beginning. 


Wouldn’t it be great if  we had a clearer sense of what life might have been like when we lived with our Heavenly Parents? What really happened there? What interactions did we have before we left our First Estate?


Author Franc Mendicino takes artistic license to provide a fascinating fictional glimpse of what that life might have been like. He follows the life of a fictional character, Arielle, during her time of preparation to leave the First Estate.


Most touching are the departing interviews that Arielle has with her Heavenly Father, Mother and elder brother Adoni as she prepares to leave her beloved First Estate. They prepare her for her mortal challenges and how to exercise “soul control” such that she can fulfill her earthly mission to not only return herself, but also help others prepare their lives to realize eternal blessings as well. The counsel she receives from them you may find applicable to your own life.


Finally, a glossary is provided until you become familiar with the character names used by the author. You will also want to watch for (as I am) the companion stories coming out in future months:

Soul Control Preface

Preface: Imagine, if you will, that each individual had within themselves a distinct essence which was made of a pure energy so refined; science had yet to discover.
